Our venue already provides 11,600 sq m of versatile, contemporary event space, two on-site hotels and a third hotel just two minutes' drive away.
However, due to demand and in order to remain one of the best conference and event facilities in the UK, the Southwater Event Group are teaming up with Telford & Wrekin Council for a £250 million redevelopment which will include a new convention quarter for the town.
The joint partnership with the local authority will help to ensure that our plans for our venue and their plans for the wider Telford area will create a more attractive destination for business tourism. The development plans includes: |
Convention Quarter:
- Improvements to The International Centre including new entrances and additional car parking
- New flexible event suite for up to 1500 delegates
- 5 new syndicate rooms
- Selection of new bars & restaurants
- Planning permission also granted for a 300 bedroom hotel
